The United Nations has declared the period 2011 – 2020 as the Decade on Biodiversity with the theme Living in Harmony with Nature. In recognition of the decade, the Jamaica CHM will periodically highlight fact sheets and educational snippets on policy, planning and on-the-ground conservation related to biodiversity and human development.
